MicroSeismic Full Wave Location

We provide the following MS-FWL (MicroSeismic Full Wave Location) services:

  • Monitoring of Microseismic hydraulic fracturing to provide evaluation of dynamic and dominant direction of fractures and to estimate zones of proppant penetration. Microseismic measurements are conducted from surface, without relocation of equipment in neighboring wells. In addition to detection of microseismic events, seismic moment tensors are also calculated. Full tensor of microseismic events as well as their locations are retrieved. Maximum likelihood method can accurately locate seismic events even when the S/N ratio at the receiving channels equals to 1/100
  • Monitoring of Microseismic active and in-situ fracture zones to characterize and determine the orientation of the fractures. It is vital task in the design of horizontal wells and side tracks. Location procedure automatically considers different level of surface noise on the channels
  • Monitoring of the fluid injection process into reservoirs to determine injection fluid migration paths
